Operation Safer Streets – City Centre Weekend Results
Our officers have been working hard across Manchester City Centre this weekend as part of Operation Safer Streets, helping to keep residents, businesses and visitors safe.
Over the course of the weekend, officers made 10 arrests for a range of offences and outstanding matters.
These included:
•2 arrests on suspicion of upskirting offences
•1 arrest on suspicion of burglary
•1 arrest on suspicion of theft
•2 arrests for individuals wanted on recall to prison
•Further arrests for other matters
These results demonstrate our continued commitment to tackling crime and identifying those who are wanted, while maintaining a visible policing presence in the City Centre.
